What does Master's Commission do?

Each day of Master's Commission begins with a time of prayer, and intense Bible study. Students then move into their acedemics, studying either the Berean courses or the credited Global courses. Next, students hide God's Word in their hearts as they memorize Scripture. The day continues with intense ministry training. In the afternoon expect to use all that you are being trained in. We serve in all types of ministries. These hands-on ministry opportunities will challenge you to become all God wants you to be. Over this nine-month period you will learn to be different as well as make a difference.

There is not a lot of opportunity to get into a rut at NCMC since our schedule is often varied. Most days start with worship, personal prayer and devotional time, scripture memory, Berean or Global Studies and then relevant ministry training, ministry prep and outreach to the local schools and communities. This means that your days will always be days where you are breaking new ground and seeing things happen that you've never seen before. At North Carolina Master's Commission your days will not only be full but also fruitful!

"His Word is in my heart like a fire, shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in, Indeed, I cannot!"

Weekends

Saturday

This is typically the student's day off however sometimes we will be involved in different ministires, from Youth Rallies to Outreaches. We always compensate with a day off during the week when there is a Saturday event planned.

Sunday

NCMC students enjoy being part of the church life. They are often welcomed into people's homes, and fellowship with the people in the church. They also work with the Kid's Church and Youth Ministry at First Assembly. They lead the morning Kid's Church service and lead the evening Youth Cell Groups, as well as visting other churches. Many times they present dramas during the services to enhance the message or just encourage the church. Other times they will be out ministering in other churches.

Monthly Activities:

Monthly activities for the MC students will include ministering in various locations through music, drama and preaching, assisting in work projects here at First Assembly, recruiting future students, local Christian youth ministry and community outreaches. Also, up to three short-term missions trips will take place during the nine-month period. Each month will vary in exciting activities and life changing experiences.
